Collection of general information

When you access our website, information of a general nature are automatically collected. This information (server log files) include the type of web browser, the operating system used, the domain name of your Internet service provider and similar information. This is exclusively information which does not allow any conclusions to be drawn about your person. This information is technically necessary in order to correctly deliver the content you have requested from websites and is mandatory when using the Internet. Anonymous information of this kind is statistically evaluated by us in order to optimise our Internet presence and the technology behind it.

Like many other websites, we also use so-called "cookies". Cookies are small text files that are transferred from a website server to your hard drive. This automatically provides us with certain data such as IP address, browser used, operating system via your computer and your connection to the Internet.

Cookies cannot be used to start programmes or to transmit viruses to a computer. Based on the information contained in cookies, we can make navigation easier for you and enable the correct display of our web pages.

Under no circumstances will the data we collect be passed on to third parties or linked to personal data without your consent.

Of course, you can also view our website without cookies. Internet browsers are regularly set to accept cookies. You can deactivate the use of cookies at any time via the settings of your browser. Please use the help functions of your Internet browser to find out how you can change these settings. Please note that some features of our website may not work if you have disabled the use of cookies.

SSL encryption

To protect the security of your data during transmission, we use state-of-the-art encryption methods (e.g. SSL) via HTTPS.
Contact form
If you contact us by e-mail or contact form, the information you have provided will be stored for the purpose of processing your inquiry and for possible follow-up questions.
Use of script libraries (Google Web Fonts)
In order to present our contents correctly and graphically appealing across all browsers, we use script libraries and font libraries such as Google Web Fonts (https://www.google.com/webfonts/) on this website. Google Web Fonts are transferred to your browser's cache to avoid multiple loading. If your browser does not support Google Web Fonts or does not allow the access, the contents will be displayed in a standard font.

The loading of script or font libraries automatically triggers a connection to the library operator. It is theoretically possible - but currently also unclear whether and, if so, for what purposes - that operators of corresponding libraries collect data.

The privacy policy of the library operator Google can be found here: https://www.google.com/policies/privacy/

Use of Google Maps

This website uses Google Maps API to display geographical information visually. When using Google Maps, Google also collects, processes and uses data about the use of map functions by visitors. You can find more information about Google's data processing in the Google Privacy Policy. There you can also change your personal data protection settings in the Data Protection Center.

Detailed instructions for managing your own data in connection with Google products can be found here.

Embedded YouTube videos

We embed YouTube videos on some of our websites. The plug-in provider and operator of the YouTube platform is YouTube LLC, 901 Cherry Ave., San Bruno, CA 94066, USA. If you visit a page featuring a YouTube plug-in, a connection to YouTube’s servers is established. Thus, YouTube will be informed about which pages you visit. If you are logged in to your YouTube account, YouTube allows you to associate your browsing behaviour directly with your personal profile. You can prevent this by previously logging out of your YouTube account.

When a YouTube video is started, the provider uses cookies that collect information about the user behaviour.

If you have deactivated the storage of cookies for the Google ad programme, you will not have to deal with such cookies when watching YouTube videos either. YouTube also stores non-personal usage information in other cookies. If you want to prevent this, you must block the storage of cookies in your browser.

Further information on data protection at YouTube can be found in the provider's data protection declaration under:  https://www.google.de/intl/de/policies/privacy/.

Your rights to information, correction, blocking, deletion and objection

You have the right to receive information about your personal data stored by us at any time. You also have the right to correct, block or, apart from the prescribed data storage for business transactions, delete your personal data. For this purpose, please contact our data protection officer. You will find the contact details at the bottom.

To ensure that data can be locked at any time, this data must be kept in a lock file for control purposes. You can also request the deletion of the data, as far as no legal archiving obligation exists. If such an obligation exists, we will block your data on request.

You can make changes or withdraw your consent by notifying us accordingly with effect for the future.

Changes to our data protection regulations

We reserve the right to occasionally adapt this data protection declaration so that it always complies with current legal requirements or to implement changes to our services in the data protection declaration, e.g. when introducing new services. The new data protection declaration will then apply for your next visit.

Questions to the data protection officer

If you have any questions about data protection, please send us an e-mail or contact our data protection officer directly: Daniela Berger-Riede.

Liability for contents

In accordance with Section 7 (1) of the Telemedia Act we as a service provider are responsible for our own content on these websites. As a service provider we are not, however, obliged to monitor transmitted or stored third-party information or investigate circumstances that suggest illegal activities (Sections 8 to 10 of the Telemedia Act). Obligations to remove or block the use of information in accordance with general laws remain unaffected by this. Any liability in this respect is only possible from the point in time when we gain knowledge of a specific infringement of the law. The moment we become aware of relevant infringements we shall remove these contents.

Liability for links

Our offer contains links to external websites of third parties over whose content we have no influence. We can therefore assume no responsibility for such third-party content. The respective provider or operator of the websites to which we provide links is solely responsible for the contents of these sites. The linked sites are checked for any possible legal infringements when the link is made; no illegal contents were recognisable at that point in time. Permanent control of the contents of linked sites cannot reasonably be carried out unless there are concrete reasons for supposing an infringement. As soon as we become aware of any such infringements, we shall remove such links without delay.

The contents and works created by the site operators on these pages are subject to German copyright law. Duplication, editing, distribution and any kind of use outside the limits of copyright law require the written consent of the respective author or creator. Downloads and copies of this site are only permitted for private, non-commercial use. Where the contents on this website have not been compiled by the operator, third-party copyright has been observed. In particular, third-party content is indicated as such. Should you nevertheless become aware of an infringement of copyright we would ask that you draw our attention to this. We shall remove such contents immediately upon being informed of any infringements.
